Dutch Prints Online

The purpose of Dutch Prints Online is to digitally provide complete books from the period 1781-1800 (totaling 2 M pages) for free. It is a collaboration between the Koninklijke Bibliotheek (KB) and the University Libraries of Amsterdam (UBA) and Leiden (UBL).

In the middle of 2010 Dutch Prints Online will make 2 million pages digitally available.

The selection of books is based on the following themes:

• History and Politics
• Economy and Trade
• Science and the History of Ideas
• Religion and Society
• Daily Life and Education
• Visual Arts
• Literature and Drama
